At BlackHairAndSkincare.com, all of our products are handmade and custom-formulated in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. Please review our updated policy below:
30-Day Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please contact us at bhsccustomers@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we will provide return instructions. However, we do not provide return shipping labels. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a product defect or shipping error.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at bhsccustomers@gmail.com if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns under any circumstances on custom-made beauty and personal care items. This includes all hair and skincare products.
Other non-returnable items include:
- Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)
- Personalized or special order items
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Sale items or gift cards

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item (if eligible) and once the return is accepted, place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
